X10 CRIT disbands VALORANT squad
Thailand-based esports organization X10 CRIT has announced a farewell to its VALORANT roster. It is reported that the contractual agreements of the players and the coaching staff came to an end, after which X10 CRIT refused to renew them.
The organization will now be the new top five ahead of the upcoming 2022 VCT season in Southeast Asia. However, the dates and format of the events have not yet been determined by Riot Games.
The original X10 CRIT lineup was assembled at the end of 2020. During this time, the team has not experienced many changes, limiting itself to Patiphan's transfer from the FULL SENSE camp in April 2021.
For a full season, the team won the SEA Fire Championship 2020, VCT 2021: Thailand Stage 1 Challengers 1, VCT 2021: Thailand Stage 1 Challengers 3, VCT 2021: Southeast Asia Stage 1 Masters, VCT 2021: Thailand Stage 2 Challengers 1, VCT 2021: Southeast Asia Stage 2 Challengers Finals and VCT 2021: Thailand Stage 3 Challengers 1.
In addition, X10 CRIT took part in VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík (7th-8th place) and VALORANT Champions 2021 (5th-8th place), earning a little over $ 116,000 in prize money per season.
