ardiis joined FunPlus Phoenix

Chinese esports organization FunPlus Phoenix has announced changes to its VALORANT roster by signing with ardiis. The 23-year-old Latvian player previously played for Team Heretics.

ardiis entered the professional scene early last year as part of fish123. In the summer, the player moved under the wing of G2 Esports, in which he won the Mandatory Cup, Solary Cup, Vitality European Open, WePlay! Invitational, BLAST Twitch Invitational and Red Bull Home Ground, and also reached the semi-finals of First Strike Europe.

However, in the summer of 2021, the 23-year-old Latvian fell under the skating rink of line-up changes, which is why he moved to Team Heretics. ardiis did not take root in the new place, playing for the team only within the qualification for LVP - Rising Series # 3, before sitting on the bench. However, the player has already played for FunPlus Phoenix at the recent Red Bull Home Ground # 2. The Latvian esportsman becomes the last cog in the mechanism under construction, which needed to be strengthened after the departure of ShadoW and dimasick.
