NRG said goodbye to Wedid
The North American organization NRG said goodbye to Wedid, who has represented the VALORANT lineup since June 2021.
"Today we say goodbye to Wedid. Thank you for everything you have achieved together with NRG. We wish you the best in the future," theorganization tweeted.
Wedid joined the band at the end of June as he stopped joining XSET. At first, the 22-year-old Canadian player, together with NRG, could not show a decent result, in particular, getting into the TOP-8 in the NSG: Summer Championship - Open 11. However, at the end of August, the team took second place in the Nerd Street Gamers: Summer Championship after losing in the final to Cloud9 Blue.
With this, Wedid's story with NRG came to an end, since in September the organization decided to put the player on the bench. Now the North American team faces the difficult burden of finding a fifth player to prepare for the start of the next VCT 2022 season.
The current NRG roster is as follows:
- eeiu.
- s0m.
- ANDROID.
- tex.
- JoshRT (head coach).
