KJC eSports, the VALORANT esports content center in Southeast Asia, is launching a $ 5,000 tournament featuring 18 teams from across the region. The KJC eSports VALORANT Invitational, which has been officially endorsed by Riot Games, runs from September 30th to October 10th.

In addition, AI Performance Platform Aim Lab and gaming chair manufacturer Vertagear have been announced as sponsors of the event.

According to the press release, the goal of the tournament is to develop the region through competitions. This is expected to help relevant organizations unleash the potential of their formulations. Some notable teams that have received invitations include Paper Rex, Alter Ego, Cerberus Esports and Team Secret.

The prize fund will be divided among the three winners. The winner will receive $ 3,000, while the silver and bronze medalists will receive $ 1,500 and $ 500, respectively. Tournament from KJC eSports will consist of group stage and playoffs with double elimination. The organizers announced that both Team Secret and Paper Rex will begin their journey at the tournament, bypassing the group stage.
