Static leaves SANDBOX Gaming
South Korean esports organization SANDBOX Gaming has announced changes to its Rainbow Six roster, saying goodbye to Static. Recall that the 24-year-old South Korean player has represented the colors of the club since the end of 2021. Now the organization has to find the fifth player before the start of the new season.
Today we say goodbye to Static. We would like to express our endless gratitude to him and wish him good luck in his new journey.
Static joined SANDBOX Gaming in October 2021 when the organization signed mantis FPS. Together with the team, the 24-year-old South Korean player became the winner of the Rainbow Six Gyeonggi Cup - 2022, Korean Open 2022 - Summer and TEN 2022 FPS SPECIAL, and also made it to the top three at Korean Open 2021 - Autumn, Korean Open 2022 - Spring, Asia-Pacific League 2022 - North Division - Stage 2, Asia-Pacific League 2022 - North Division - Stage 3 and Korean Open 2022 - Autumn.
In addition, he had a chance to perform at Six Sweden Major 2021 (5th-8th place), Six Invitational 2022 (17th-20th place), Six Berlin Major 2022 (9th-12th place) and Six Jönköping Major 2022 (13th-16th place). However, SANDBOX Gaming failed to qualify for the upcoming Six Invitational 2023, finishing second in the regional qualifiers.
According to the latest rumors, the South Korean organization plans to sign a contract with Demic, who left Talon Esports a week earlier and became a free agent. Clearly, the departure from Static is a harbinger of a future transfer.
