Team Empire parts ways with Rainbow Six roster

The Russian eSports organization Team Empire announced the parting with the Rainbow Six roster. The team will continue to play together under the PWNZ tag. Recall that the club could not directly support its composition directly because of the sanctions imposed as a result of Russia's military invasion of Ukraine.

Today we say goodbye to our Rainbow Six team. The team will continue to play together under the PWNZ tag. Today Team Empire wants to thank everyone who made the dream possible: Ubisoft for their luxurious competitive shooter, ex-players and ex-managers, and of course you, our fans, who supported R6 squads for almost 4 years. Peace to all and take care of yourself!

Team Empire unveiled their first Rainbow Six roster back in 2019. During this time, the team has made several changes, the latest of which happened at the beginning of the current season. However, the team showed terrible results in previous splits, finishing last in European League 2022 - Stage 1 and European League 2022 - Stage 2.

The organization added that it was leaving the esports discipline due to existing restrictions. Players are expected to perform at the upcoming European League 2022 - Stage 3, which starts next week.
