Fnatic is interested in buying a European Rainbow Six roster

According to the BLIX.GG portal, the British esports organization Fnatic is interested in buying a European Rainbow Six roster. Since its entry into the scene, the club has competed in Southeast Asia but now seems ready to make a move towards the European region.

On the eve of the organization announced the parting with Li9ht, Siru and Yura - their Japanese representatives of the composition, assembled in March of this year. For six months, the team has not achieved much success, taking only fourth place in the Asia-Pacific League 2022 - North Division - Stage 2.

The organization is now evaluating its options for the future. While Russian clubs Virtus.pro and Team Empire are interested in selling their squads, Fnatic may look at teams with European league slots.

Note that due to sanctions, Virtus.pro and Team Empire cannot support their rosters directly, as a result of which they play under the Outsiders and PWNZ tags, respectively.

It is not yet clear whether these steps will happen in the near future or in 2023 and whether the idea will be put into practice. It is expected that Team Empire will not remain in the competitive scene and will leave the discipline in an attempt to sell their roster.

The current Fnatic Rainbow Six roster is as follows:

  • Mag
  • Chibisu
  • Lily
  • Dizzle (coach/manager)
