Polar bears, new scope and updated weapon balance - PUBG patch 22.1 changelog

PUBG Studios has released the PUBG Patch 22.1 Changelog. This time, the developers decided to please the players with new features and capabilities by adding Polar Bears and the Thermal Scope, and also updated the balance of weapons. While the update is already available in the game's test client, the patch will be available on February 15 (PC) and February 23 (console).

A polar bear will be added to the Vikendi map, which will attack players. The predator can be killed, but approaching it, the player can become a target and victim himself. Signs will be scattered on the map in the habitat of dangerous bears, warning of a meeting with a predator.

  • Polar bears can be killed
  • Polar bears will attack players when approaching them within a certain distance
  • Threat warning signs will appear throughout the map
  • Bear kills and damage dealt stats will not be reflected in profile view, stats, match history, mastery, or post-match screen

The Return of Moonlight Mode

Also, the Moonlight mode will return to the game, which will be used in matches randomly. However, the mode will only be available on the Vikendi map.

New sight: Thermal Imager 4X

A new 4X Thermal Sight has been added to the game, with which you can track opponents at a long distance in low visibility (in conditions of smoke, darkness and natural obstacles).
