Charizard Cheeto Fetches Over $2,000 at Auction
Pokémon fans’ passion knows no bounds, and they’re now proving it with a $2,100 bid on a Flamin' Hot Cheeto shaped like Charizard. Dubbed "Cheetozard," this snack was discovered and preserved by 1st & Goal Collectibles sometime between 2018 and 2022 and is currently up for auction at Goldin. The item comes with a custom-made card and is housed in a clear storage box to preserve its uniqueness.
With eight days remaining on the auction, the price may still rise, but it’s already clear that this is no ordinary snack – it's a collectible with appeal for serious Pokémon enthusiasts. Of course, it’s not for everyone, but for those with a lot of disposable income, it might be the perfect addition to their collection.
Meanwhile, excitement is building for the upcoming Pokémon Presents Livestream, where fans speculate that a new title, Pokémon Legends Z-A, will be revealed. Additionally, Pokémon Go’s Unova Tour event is just around the corner in Los Angeles, with the Pokémon Company and Niantic pledging $1 million for wildfire relief in the area.
So, whether it’s an iconic new game or an unusual snack item, Pokémon fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks!
