In the Pokemon DLC, there's a remix of an Ed Sheeran song crafted by Toby Fox, the developer behind Undertale

The track, a revamped version of Celestial, Sheeran’s tune for Scarlet and Violet, gets featured during the game’s ending credits.

While Toby Fox contributed to some of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's music, he's solely credited for this particular remix.

Ed Sheeran, a devoted Pokemon enthusiast, made an appearance in a Pokemon-themed music video for the release of Scarlet and Violet.

Before the 2022 Pokémon World Championships in London, Ed recorded a special message for the attendees. He has previously shared stories about spending a night stuck at a train station during his early tours and passing the time by playing Pokémon Red on the Game Boy Colour for nine consecutive hours.

"I’ve been playing Pokémon since my primary school days," the singer mentioned in a statement. "My brother and I had different game versions and we'd trade Pokémon until we completed our Pokédex. While I adored the cards, it was the games that truly absorbed me.

“The world they created was amazing; it provided an escape from any negative aspects in my life or school that I wanted to avoid. It was a world I could immerse myself in and I've been playing ever since.

“Even at 31, I still have my trusty Game Boy Color and play Pokémon Yellow or Silver during my travels on planes and trains. It’s an incredible honor to contribute a song to a Pokémon game and create a nostalgic video as well.”
