Blizzard is making major adjustments to both overpowered and underperforming perks. Some of the confirmed hero changes include:

  • Roadhog's Hog Toss will now deal bonus damage when combined with a trap.
  • Juno's double jump will be improved, allowing her to glide longer in the air.
  • Bastion's self-healing will now have a resource counter, preventing infinite regeneration.

More details will be revealed in the official patch notes, but the update is clearly aimed at balancing perks and improving overall gameplay ahead of Season 16.

Additionally, “Blue Flame” variants of previous LE SSERAFIM skins will be introduced, alongside a free Junkrat skin that players can unlock by completing in-game challenges. Expect exclusive cosmetics, challenges, and special event rewards during the collaboration.

Classic Game Modes Make a Comeback

For long-time Overwatch fans, Blizzard is bringing back beloved game modes from the past, including:

Overwatch Classic – GOATS Meta

A limited-time mode featuring the iconic GOATS meta returns, letting players relive one of the most dominant compositions in competitive Overwatch 1 history.

Return of Competitive 6v6 Mode

Blizzard is also testing the return of 6v6 Competitive Mode, allowing players to experience classic team battles while using modern heroes and perks. This experiment could influence whether 6v6 makes a permanent comeback in future updates.
