An Overwatch 2 player has stumbled upon a bug that enables Zenyatta to detect Sombra while she's invisible. Overwatch 2 is renowned for its intense matches, where each player assumes a role to guide their team to victory. Another aspect that has also made Overwatch 2 famous is the frequency at which players encounter bugs within the game.

Overwatch 2 players are no strangers to witnessing the game plagued by bugs that impact gameplay. One of the most widely discussed instances occurred shortly after the release of Overwatch 2 when Bastion and Torbjorn were temporarily removed due to issues with their ultimates. Mei also drew significant attention when she took a hiatus from Overwatch 2 after a bug was discovered in her Ice Wall. Now, an Overwatch 2 player has uncovered yet another bug, granting one of the veteran heroes a means to confront their greatest adversary.

Zenyatta player spots Sombra while she's invisible

A Reddit user by the name of Twisted_tadpole came across a bug that allows Zenyatta to spot Sombra even when she's in her invisible state. In the video shared by the player, it's demonstrated that after the Orb of Discord detaches, the cooldown icon appears on Sombra, even though the hacker herself remains unseen. Furthermore, a red outline materializes around Sombra, significantly impeding the damage-dealing heroine's stealth ability. Zenyatta is an Overwatch 2 hero whose playstyle centers on his orbs, using them to deal damage to enemies and heal his allies. Once the Orb of Discord is attached to an enemy, it can only be used again after a seven-second cooldown. Overwatch 2 keeps players informed about the elapsed time by displaying a counter at the bottom of the opponent's character model.

Zenyatta, one of Overwatch 2's support heroes, presents a challenge for tank heroes. Nevertheless, this omnic monk struggles due to having the lowest base health pool in Overwatch 2. To mitigate Zenyatta's effectiveness, players can employ various counters, with Sombra being the most effective among them. Sombra stands out thanks to her invisibility, allowing her to infiltrate enemy lines to silence Zenyatta and eliminate the support.

The bug unearthed by Twisted_tadpole poses a threat to Sombra players, as it diminishes the essence of her character. Nonetheless, considering the frenzied nature of battles in Overwatch 2, Zenyatta's survival won't be a cakewalk, though players will certainly appreciate the assistance. At present, Blizzard has not commented on the matter, and it remains to be seen what course of action the company will take regarding yet another bug found in an Overwatch 2 hero.
