JD Gaming unveiled roster for 2023 season
The title Chinese esports club JD Gaming announced the League of Legends roster for the 2023 season. The team's roster included 6 players, including 1 newcomer to the professional scene and 2 scene veterans.
Newly arrived Lzq will wear a JD Gaming uniform for the first time in his career. His teammates will be 369, Kanavi, knight, Ruler and Missing.
Unlike Lzq, who has just embarked on the path of becoming a top player, Ruler and knight have already managed to earn fame for themselves. Both, in their own way.
Before moving to JD Gaming, knight managed to visit Suning, where he started his career in December 2017, and TOP Esports, with whom he spent the last season. As part of the latter, 22-year-old Zhuo Ding won the Mid-Season Cup 2020 LPL Summer 2020. With the team, he reached the TOP-4 at Worlds 2020, and also took 2nd place at the LPL three times: Spring 2020, Spring 2022 and Summer 2022.
South Korean legionnaire Ruler previously played in the LCK. His teams included Stardust, Samsung Galaxy and Gen.G Esports.
As part of Samsung Galaxy, he reached the Worlds 2016 finals, and also won IEM Season XI - Gyeonggi. The peak result in his career was the victory over T1 in the Worlds 2017 final.
Played for Gen.G Ruler for 5 seasons. During this time, he managed to win the LCK Summer 2022, reach the finals of the Korean League three times (LCK Spring 2020, LCK Spring 2021, LCK Spring 2022). He also made it to the TOP-8 Worlds three times (5th-8th place at Worlds 2020, TOP-4 at Worlds 2021 and Worlds 2022).
