Return of Prince and other news from Liiv SADNBOX
Just yesterday, April 5, it became known that Lee “Prince” Chae-hwan returned to Liiv SANDBOX after 4 months of rest, back to the role of the main bot laner of the League of Legends team.
The eSports organization from Korea informed fans about this on its Twitter page. The fans were very happy about the news of the player's return.
Prince replaced his younger colleagues Lee " Envyy " Myeong-joon and Yoon " Ice " Sang-hoon. Envyy moved to the role of replacement in the main roster, and Ice went to the junior roster of the LSB Challengers Sandbox.
What the team is experiencing after a disastrous split for themselves and what plans they have for the near future - more details about all this and their reunion with the former bot laner were told by the team's general manager Jeong Hoi-yoon, making a big post on one of the Korean web resources.
“Lee “ Prince ” Chae-hwan was a key member of last year's Liiv SANDBOX and is wearing our team uniform again.
Prince is a player with proven skills in the LCK as he won the LCK All Pro third team last year.
We treated each other with respect and communicated with each other in a friendly way, but in the end, each of us went our own way.
However, we have fond memories of cheering each other on and promising a future where we could meet again.
His decision to return to the professional scene must have been a difficult one. However, Prince had a strong desire to return as a professional player.
Once again, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Chae-hwan for making a difficult decision.”
The manager did not forget to mention two other contenders for the role of ADK in the main lineup of Liiv SANDBOX:
“ Envyy is a great player who helped the team with his positive attitude and was more helpful to the team than any other player I have ever met.
Ice has also shown rapid growth in the LCK, not fearing to compete with most of the strong contenders along the way.
Envvy will remain in the first team and fight honestly and hard alongside Prince this summer split."
Otherwise, the general manager of the League of Legends esports team feels a lot of responsibility for the “poor performance” at the just-last LCK Spring 2022, where they finished 9 out of 10 with 4 wins and 14 losses in the series.
It is gratifying to see that after this, the team does not lose heart and continues to work on itself, preparing for the upcoming challenges.
“However, I think that we are a lot on our defeats and failures. While honing what I took from the spring split, I will try my best for this summer to show Liiv SANDBOX as winners.”
