00 NATION announces disbandment of LoL team

Norwegian esports organization 00 Nation has announced that "an era is over" as they have completely abandoned their team in one of Riot Games' disciplines, League of Legends.

The sad news of the end of the life of the 00 NATION team was shared yesterday with their audience on Twitter. Many fans took the news with due sadness and supported the players.

“January 2022 was the end of our League of Legends roster with a history that stretches back to August 2013 (Previously the team was called BX3, Nordavind).

Our team competed in Telialigaen splits for 12 seasons, won 4 times and played in the finals many times.

We are immensely proud of the legacy we left behind in League of Legends, culminating in two playoffs and three seasons in the NLC. ”

The fact that the team left in good shape and at the peak of strength in their region may surprise many. However, as was the case with the same Unicorns of Love, 00 NATION consistently took first places on their Telialigaen and performed well in the NLC.

But as it happens, a moment comes when their players have nowhere to grow professionally, and it would not be entirely correct to stifle young teams from their region.

We do not know the exact reasons why 00 NATION disbanded the team.

Together with 00 NATION's main LoL roster, they also disbanded their 00 Prospects academic team, which no longer exists.

We can only wish the players good luck in the future. Perhaps we will soon see some of them in the NLC under the auspices of other teams.
