Team Dignitas renewed their academic staff
Major esports organization Team Dignitas today updated the roster of its academic League of Legends team. Will 3 new faces, along with the already familiar Spawn and JayJ, bring great results?
Team Dignitas has traditionally told the audience about this on their twitter. And later they attached the famous moment with DiCaprio "I'm not leaving!" softly hinting at a renewed contract with Spawn.
Team Dignitas scouts did a good job and put together a very interesting hodgepodge of players specifically for the performance at the LCS Academy League. Two new players from TSM Amateur and Cloud9 Amateur academies - Eclipse and Exyu. And also DarkWings, who played for Zoos Gaming and AOE Esports the previous year.
They were combined with the already well-known, first of all, the organization itself, and secondly to the public and fans - Spawn, with whom the contract was renewed and JayJ, who was returned after a month of leaving Dignitas Academy.
The Canadian Mervin-Angelo 'Dayos' Lachica, whom Dignitas had previously worked with, was hired to coach the players. He started out teaching and coaching League of Legends teams from the University of Toronto in 2019 and has since coached teams such as Mirage Esports, Winthrop University and Dignitas Mirage.
And this is what the roster of Dignitas Academy looks like now:
- Yujie 'Eclipse' Wu is a top laner.
- Lawrence 'eXyu' Xu - Forester.
- Isaac 'DarkWings' Chou is a mid laner.
- Trevor 'Spawn' Kerr-Taylor - ADK.
- Juan 'JayJ' Guibert - support.
