Disguised Toast and Day[9] 'Twitch chat plays Hearthstone' Battle!
Twitch chat plays Hearthstone was an idea that Disguised Toast implemented into his stream a while ago, back during the days of Disguised Toast actually being in disguise. The idea is simple – each location on the board of Hearthstone that can be clicked on is registered to a command, including the board, each player’s face and Hero Power, and one’s own hand. These commands can be sent via Twitch chat, where they are processed, and take effect in the game.
In the end (slight spoilers!), Day[9]and his chat of over 1,000 people won over Disguised Toast 3-1. There may indeed have been some foul play involved, especially after, in a tough spot, Day[9]commanded his chat to invade Toast’s channel and spam the ‘end turn’ button, which, after a few passed turns, bought him the time to make his victory.
Below are just a few of the gems that this magnificent series produced. The community eagerly awaits a rematch, or perhaps the same strategy taken up by even larger streams.
