Chiefs Esports Club became the champion of Halo Championship Series 2022: Oceania Regional Championship
Halo Championship Series 2022: Oceania Regional Championship has ended. As part of the championship, which was held from September 2 to 4 in Melbourne at the Margaret Court Arena, 24 teams from Oceania fought for a prize pool of $50,000, rating points, and three trips to the Halo Championship Series 2022: Orlando. The winner of the tournament was the Chiefs Esports Club team, which was stronger than Mindfreak in the grand final with a score of 4:2.
The competition for JIM1 wards began with a confident performance in the group stage, during which they got three wins over Mindfreak (3:0), Team Immunity (3:0) and Bandits Esports Club (3:0).
Having made it to the playoffs, the team first dealt with Dire Wolves (3:0), and then outplayed Mindfreak (3:2) and advanced to the grand final. Here, Chiefs Esports Club again outplayed Mindfreak (4:2), thanks to which it became the champion of the Halo Championship Series 2022: Oceania Regional Championship.
