Pioneers disbands Halo roster
The North American esports organization Pioneers has decided to disband the Halo roster. Two years later, the club wanted to exit the game, releasing their now former players as free agents. At the same time, the club did not explain the reasons for parting with the North American team, which until that moment had shown good results.
Big thanks to the entire Halo community and most importantly thanks to Druk, Mikey, Manny, Taulek, KingNick and Jamiwas for an incredible 2 years. We wish you all the best and look forward to everyone keeping an eye on the future of Pioneers.
The first Halo roster of the Pioneers was formed at the end of 2020. Despite significant changes in the ecosystem, the organization managed to stay afloat and continue its performances. As a result, in two seasons, the North American team became the winner of Philly Esports - Holiday Bash 2021, Esports Zone - Kansas City and HCS 2021-22 North America Open Series 4, and also got into the TOP-3 following the results of Halo 5 Pro Series Season 1: NA - Championship, Halo 5 Pro Series Season 2: NA - Championship and HCS 2021-22 North America Open Series 10.
In addition, the team took part in Halo Championship Series 2021: Kickoff Major (5th-6th place), Halo Championship Series 2022: North America Regionals (5th-6th place) and Halo Championship Series 2022: Kansas City Major (5th-6th place) while remaining a significant force in the North American region.
It is not clear in what form the team will continue to compete. Given the slot available for Halo Championship Series 2022: Orlando, the roster will likely continue to stick together and keep the core.
The Halo Championship Series 2022: Orlando itself will take place from September 23 to 25 in Orlando. Based on its results, 12 direct tickets to the Halo World Championship 2022 will be awarded.
The latest Pioneers Halo roster is as follows:
- Druk
- KingNick
- soulsnipe
- Taulek
