The list of players that had fought their way to the final stage of the first Quake Champions world championship has become known today.

Twelve individual players, that have become the finalists of the European qualifying round and will take part in the final stage of Quake World Championship 2017, are known at the moment. Besides individual players, teams will, also, compete in the first Quake world championship, each will contain of four players.

Five representatives of the CIS region have got to the tournament through the European qualification: Xron, cYpheR, clawz, AGENT and Cooler. 32 participants have taken part in the qualifying round.

Twelve best individual participants will be determined soon, they will pass to the final stage of Quake World Championship 2017 through a qualification in North America and, also, eight players, that will pass through the BYOC qualification, will be determined.

The LAN final of Quake World Championship 2017 will be hosted at QuakeCon on August 24-26. Matches will be run in two formats: a duel between cyber-sportsmen and team matches. A general prize pool of the first Quake Champions world championship amounts $1,000,000.
