Valve reminded users of the Steam platform that company representatives never contact users through the platform itself or third-party applications regarding their accounts and items. If someone impersonates a Valve employee and tries to get information about an account, items, etc., then this is an attempt to deceive. Valve is also asked to report such cases directly to support https://help.steampowered.com/.
