Electronic Arts has shared fresh details of the "Careers" mode in FIFA 22. From now on, players will be able to create their own club and stadium, plunge into the atmosphere of the locker room, and will receive more statistics and information.

The main innovation of the "Career" mode is the ability to create your own club and stadium. Players will be given the chance to replace an existing team in a chosen league, create their own logo, choose two main kits, and also select a principal rival, forming the so-called "Derby".

In addition, players will have the opportunity to choose the overall rating and age of the team - that is, the composition of the created club will be generated automatically, while the nationality of the players depends on the chosen league. Whether it will be possible to recruit real players from other clubs to the team is still unknown.

Changes have also been made to the player's career mode. Now the selected footballer will be able to go on substitutions at the coach's discretion. In addition, the list of tasks for a specific match, formed from the position on the field, has been updated. There is also a redesigned player growth system with points that can be spent on "Skills".

Another innovation concerns the atmosphere in the club's dressing room. From now on, the atmosphere will depend on the latest achievements of the team and local successes, as well as on the personal achievements of the player, for example, receiving the "Best Player of the Match" award.

FIFA 22 will be released on October 1, 2021. The game will be available to owners of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and Google Stadia.
