In FIFA 22, women will be able to play against men
In the next version of the football simulator FIFA 22, players will have the opportunity to play a full 11v11 match between the women's and men's teams. Developers from Electronic Arts told about this in a new video published on the official EA channel on YouTube.
The men's and women's soccer match will be available in Pro Clubs mode, in which 11v11 matches are played and each player is assigned a separate position on the field. In addition, players will be able to create female soccer players and fight for them against opponents of the opposite sex. Note that earlier the meeting of female and male football players was possible only in the Volta street football mode.
This is not the first step on the part of the FIFA developers to popularize women's football. Prior to that, it was reported that Alex Scott will be the commentator in FIFA 22.
FIFA 22 will be released on October 1, 2021. The game will be available to owners of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and Google Stadia.
