Following the recent financial report, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnik commented on the future of Firaxis. First of all, he praised the pace of development of Civilization VI, which continues to attract new players 5 years after its release.
In addition, Zelnik praised the success of XCOM: Chimera Squad and XCOM 2 on Nintendo Switch. With the release of projects on the Nintendo Firaxis console, the past financial year has been one of the most successful for Firaxis in the history of the studio.
There is still a lot of work ahead for the creators of Civilization. As noted by Zelnik, the company is already working on several "exciting" projects that can be presented this year.
