Microsoft will develop Hideo Kojima's next game
Hideo Kojima's next game will be released with the help of Microsoft, as revealed by insider Nick Baker on the XboxEra podcast. The journalist emphasized that initially the offer came to the Sony office, but the corporation refused this opportunity.
According to Baker, Kojima was rejected by Sony back in June last year. The insider stressed that the initiative came from the Japanese branch of the PlayStation, but he could not be confirmed. At the same time, Kojima allegedly proposed a new project and Google Stadia, where he was also refused, after which he began negotiations with Microsoft. There is no official confirmation of plans for a joint project, but the head of the Xbox Phil Spencer hinted at this several times.
It is noted that a possible reason for Sony's refusal is the very meager sales of Death Stranding on PS4.
