Huawei may launch a game console similar to PlayStation and XBox

Huawei manufactures a variety of consumer products, enabling the company to reach a vast consumer base around the world. Speaking specifically about computing devices, Huawei has various product lines that vary between different market segments.

Huawei Central is reporting that Huawei is developing a gaming console that can compete with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The portal also highlights the Chinese tech giant's intentions to launch a new line of laptops designed specifically for gaming.

Ahead of the launch of its gaming consoles, Huawei will be entering the gaming PC market for the first time this year, which is very suitable for and expanding the company's current laptop lines. There are no details about Huawei's device yet. It is expected to be comparable in power to current generation home consoles.

Note that back last year, Honor launched its first gaming laptop, the Honor Hunter, which came with high specs as well as a gamer-oriented design. It is also reported that Huawei was ready to reveal its own gaming laptop in 2020, but did not.

In early 2021, Huawei has already unveiled the new MateBook X Pro, MateBook 13 and 14 laptops, powered by an 11th Gen Intel processor.
