Valve recently announced that their co-op survival shooter Left 4 Dead will be released in Germany uncensored. A special add-on will be available for download for residents of the country.
Left 4 Dead 2, when released in 2009, failed to achieve an age rating in Germany and Australia. There Valve had to release a "stripped-down" version without blood, zombie corpses and other classic aspects of similar games.

Sign UpIt is noteworthy that in Australia the game managed to get an age rating in 2014. Now the German authorities have decided to lift the ban on the "forbidden" games.
