Four years after its release, the shooter Battleborn officially ceases to exist. 2K shuts down the game servers.
The release of Battleborn took place a few months before the release of Overwatch. The game from 2K and Gearbox did not find success compared to the competitor from Blizzard Entertainment.
The transition to the shareware distribution model in 2017 did not help the game either. It is noteworthy that the game from the creators of Borderlands included a single-player campaign, but to complete it, you need to connect to servers that have ceased to function.
