Rocket League will introduce a new mode

Psyonix has not stopped working on the Rocket League and are already preparing a new content update. Next week, the Gridiron mode will appear in the game.

Gridiron will appear as part of the NFL Super Bowl LV Celebration event, which kicks off in the Rocket League for the Super Bowl celebrations. Therefore, new rules await players:

• The standard ball will be replaced with an American football ball;
• The mode will support 4 by 4 format;
• Touching the ball attaches it to the roof of the car;
• Goals will be worth a certain number of points: from 3 to 7;
• The ball can be passed to teammates using dodges.

Also during the NFL Super Bowl LV Celebration event, Rocket League players will have time trials. There will be 3 of them in total, and for their fulfillment they promise thematic awards: titles, wheels and experience.

There will be a temporary event from February 2 to 8.
