Looks like Subnautica: Below Zero is coming to consoles soon. In the US, the game has already been assigned an age rating.
So far, trying to survive in a not-so-friendly ocean is only possible on PC and Nintendo Switch. However, the aforementioned fact about assigning an age rating to the game suggests that Bandai Namco decided to expand the list of available platforms.
Subnautica: Below Zero has been in Early Access for over a year. The game got there at the end of January 2019, and when the full release will take place is not clear.
