Over 16 thousand people became victims of data leak in Capcom

Capcom is continuing its internal investigations following a hacker attack on the company in November last year. Today, they reported that the number of people affected has risen to 16,415.
The word “victims” means people whose personal data are at risk. This number included business partners of the company (3,248 people), former Capcom employees (9,164 people), as well as current employees and their relatives (3,994 people).

Sign UpAfter the publication of new information from the investigation, the number of potential victims increased to 390 thousand. Capcom also promises to continue cooperation with law enforcement agencies in Japan and the United States, as well as with companies specializing in cybersecurity.
