How will the DualSense and Deathloop controllers interact?
The developers of the ambitious time-loop shooter Deathloop talked about the features of the PS5 version. As you might expect, the main benefits will come from the DualSense controller.
The PlayStation 5 controller will stream pretty much everything from walking and running to shooting and melee combat. Bethesda promises that players will literally feel "every nail." By the way, this is a reference to the PT-6 Spiker nail gun, one of the weapons from the arsenal of the main characters of the game.
Also DualSense will react to the quality of the weapon. If the protagonist has a low-quality gun in his hands, then from time to time it will jam and fail in every possible way. The smart controller from Sony will notice this and the adaptive triggers will “freeze” along with the weapon.
Of course DualSense will be able to support game sounds as well as movement types. Running and calm stride will differ significantly in perception.
Deathloop will be released on May 21, 2021. The game will be released on PC and PS5.
