According to the plot, we play as Marianne, the girl of the medium, as it is not difficult to guess from the name of the game. The main feature of Marianne is that she exists in two realities. This is exactly what will become the main feature of The Medium's gameplay.

We will spend most of the campaign in one of the dimensions: be it astral or physical. But about one third of the game will take place simultaneously in two realities. During these episodes, the screen will split in two. Moreover, the size of each individual part will depend on the game situation. For example, if a moment in "spiritual" reality has an important plot meaning, then there will be more space on the screen for it.

The developers also talked about the management at such moments. Everything is simpler here: both incarnations of Marianne are controlled synchronously, on consoles, for example, using the left stick. However, the main character has different abilities in the two realities, which will also be a fundamental part of the gameplay.

The up-and-coming horror movie is set to release on December 10th. The game will be released on PC and Xbox Series.
