Square Enix has announced the release of a revamped Final Fantasy 7. The remaster of the game will be released on physical media for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
Among other things, owners of a portable console from Nintendo will receive a bonus. Final Fantasy VIII comes with Final Fantasy VII. And here is what they promise in the remaster itself:
- Graphic improvements;
- Support for resolution 1920x1080;
- New character models;
- The ability to customize the gameplay.
The last point adds to the game the "Help in Battle" function, the ability to adjust the game speed and disable random encounters. The release is scheduled for December 4th.
Final Fantasy VIII was released back in 1999 for the PlayStation, and in 2000 it reached the PC. The digital remaster of the eighth part took place in 2019.
