Larian was flooded, but the light was gone: the developers of Baldur's Gate III talked to fans
Baldur's Gate III is celebrating a small anniversary - the game has been in Early Access for a week. In honor of this date, developers from Larian Studios talked to fans. They did it, as always, in a humorous manner.
The development team recalled several incidents that happened a few days before the release of the game. One of these incidents was the flooding of the Belgian office, in which a special video was filmed for those who made early access to the end. In another office, the electricity went out.
Among other things, the developers analyzed the number and zones of deaths in the game. So the most dangerous place was the portal, near which the players meet Gale. The only character who died more than the main character was Shadowwhart.
Finally, Larian has released a patch that should fix bugs when meeting with Shadowwhart and Astarion. However, the patch caused problems with saving players, so it had to be rolled back.
