New Comparison Reveals Huge Difference Between GTA 5 and GTA 6

This week, Rockstar Ganes reminded everyone that GTA 6 will release in two weeks, in case anyone had forgotten. There are actually even fewer days left, but what matters more is that the studio shared new screenshots of this generation’s most anticipated game, and this time there were quite a lot of them.

As expected, GTA 6 impresses with its graphics, level of detail, huge number of NPCs, and attention to detail on the new screenshots. It may end up being the best-looking game ever when it comes out on November 19. Fans have again compared GTA 6 with the fifth game, and the results speak for themselves.

Social media users compared pre-release screenshots of GTA 5 with the images Rockstar just published. In the comments, people claim that next to GTA 6, the fifth game looks like it was made for the PS2 rather than the PS3. See for yourself below:

Here's a quick comparison between official GTA 5 pre-release screenshots to GTA 6 latest screenshots.

There is a lot to say about the fact that GTA 6 is built for a more powerful console generation and that Rockstar’s RAGE engine has taken a huge leap forward, especially since Red Dead Redemption 2. At the same time, it seems the developers took on a huge challenge, and we still don’t know for sure what GTA 6 will be like in terms of gameplay. That is one of the main sources of intrigue around the game, and it is why fans are so eager to play it.

According to Sensor Tower, pre-orders for GTA 6 are approaching 8 million copies. If you haven’t bought the game yet, you can do it on Eneba. Use the promo code EGW5 for an extra 5% discount, and Eneba will also give you 14% cashback on your purchase. Don’t forget to check the sales section and take advantage of the deal.

Back to the new GTA 6 screenshots: users noticed that one of them shows a character who looks very much like actor Alex Hernandez, best known as Lincoln Clay in Mafia III. Red Dead Redemption 2 fans also noticed again the similarity between Jason and Arthur Morgan, the game’s protagonist.

Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Pre-loading, as confirmed by Rockstar, starts next week, on November 10.
