Jason Schreier Teases New GTA 6 Article Will Be Published Tomorrow - First Details Revealed

New GTA 6 details keep coming ahead of its release next month. This time, a report from one of the best-known gaming journalists is confirmed to release in the next 24 hours.

Jason Schreier, a respected gaming journalist at Bloomberg, announced on Bluesky that his article about GTA 6 will be published tomorrow, October 14. It is expected to focus on the shift in Rockstar’s cultural influence and the challenges of developing the project, including why it took so long to finish.

Jason Schreier is teasing a new GTA VI story coming tomorrow, October 14.

The Bloomberg journalist says the article will look at the challenges behind GTA VI's development, how Rockstar's company culture has changed over the past decade, and why the game is taking so long to make.

Don't expect a big list of new gameplay features. Schreier says the focus will be on the development process and what has changed behind the scenes at Rockstar.

In a conversation with Reddit users, Schreier shared a few more details. He confirmed that he has played GTA 6 himself, but Rockstar Ganes did not allow him to share his impressions publicly. He also claimed his article is not connected to the news that surfaced today about a possible PC release of GTA 6 in the first quarter of 2027, and that he hasn’t heard anything about it.

Grand Theft Auto VI will release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
