Take-Two Will Hold Another Quarter Fiscal Year 2027 Results on November 9 - Week Before GTA 6 Launch

Excluding gamers who have already pre-ordered GTA 6, Take-Two Interactive—the parent company of Rockstar Games—is the one most eagerly awaiting the game’s release, as it expects the studio’s new title to generate incredible revenue. And everything really points to this: we should be prepared for GTA 6 to break quite a few previously set financial records. We may learn more during Take-Two’s next earnings call, the date of which has now been officially announced.

On its official website, Take-Two Interactive announced its second quarter fiscal year 2027 earnings call—it will take place on November 9, 10 days before the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Still, it’s unlikely that we’ll learn anything about the sixth installment; most likely, updated sales figures for GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released, as was the case last month. But at the same time, the company’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, will probably share something like “GTA 6 is doing very well with pre-orders,” as he has done before.

According to Sensor Tower data for the end of August, GTA 6 sales were estimated at approximately 5 million copies, and that number may have increased significantly since then. Given that Rockstar will likely release a couple more official trailers in the coming month, we may see even more rapid growth as the release date approaches.

Additionally, a few hours ago, reports surfaced that the game's PC version might be released in the 1st quarter of 2027, though it should be considered with a grain of salt for now.

Grand Theft Auto VI will release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
