GTA 6 Could Feature a Mission with Pet Tiger, Former Developer Revealed

There’s no doubt GTA 6 will offer a huge range of missions, both main story and side quests. The trailers and An Extended Look have already shown a few examples of what Jason and Lucia will be up to, and in a recent interview, one of the developers hinted the game might include a mission involving a pet tiger.

As reported by Insider Gaming, former Rockstar designer Jérémy Hartvick appeared on Reece “Kiwi Talkz” Reilly’s podcast and explained that early in GTA 6’s development, before the story was clearly defined, developers pitched their own mission ideas. Hartvick claimed he offered a mission involving a pet tiger. He didn’t share any further details and doesn’t know whether it made it into the final game. “It had that flexibility at that point where they were looking at how everything fits together. If there is a pet tiger mission or pet jaguar or whatever, that might be mine.”

It’s been more than a month since Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look premiered on Netflix, and Rockstar still isn’t rushing to release a new trailer. The developers have been sharing more details, though. In an interview with IGN, Rob Nelson, head of development and co-studio head, talked about the importance of heists, the relationship between Jason and Lucia, and confirmed the game will be uncensored in certain moments. One example he gave is a character switch scene that shows Jason fully naked in the shower.

Grand Theft Auto VI will release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
