30-Second GTA 6 TV Spot Could Be This Week

It's been over a month since Rockstar Games revealed the first GTA 6 gameplay during the massive Netflix presentation. With the launch getting closer, fans are hungry for more, and a recent leak hints a short trailer might actually be on the way soon.

The speculation started with a Reddit post from someone claiming to work at Fox News, who's since deleted their profile. He had posted a video verifying his employment there, along with a photo of a program schedule labeled "GTA VI TV SPOT." Users pieced together that a new GTA 6 clip could air this Sunday, October 11, since the same schedule lists a new episode of Animal Control for that day, right after The Simpsons. Another Reddit user backed up the leak, claiming he had also worked at Fox and explaining that stations receive these schedules to plan local ad breaks around specific broadcasts.

A GTA 6 TV spot may be getting ready to air.

A Reddit user who says they work at a news station shared a programming schedule showing “GTA VI TV SPOT”, although no air date is listed yet.

Fans would obviously love a full GTA 6 trailer over a 30-second TV spot, but Rockstar could still drop something unexpectedly this week, especially with the marketing campaign clearly ramping up.

Meanwhile, there might be a different kind of concern brewing. Cyberleek, the hacker behind more than ten leaked GTA 6 gameplay clips this summer, has reportedly shown renewed signs of activity, as was spotted on social media. Since the last video revealed part of the game's prologue, some fans are worried a return could mean major story spoilers this time around.
