Rockstar Games and GTA 6 Might Be in Danger—Hacker Cyberleek Teases His Return

This summer, Rockstar Games' worst nightmare came true—a massive GTA 6 leak. A hacker going by the name Cyberleek leaked more than 10 gameplay videos of an early version of the game, revealing quite a few gameplay mechanics and even the game’s prologue featuring Lucia in prison. It seemed as though this marathon had come to an end shortly before the release of Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look on Netflix, but it appears this story isn’t quite over yet.

Social media users began to notice Cyberleek was showing signs of life again. As user videotech pointed out, the hacker may have launched a new poll on his website—something he did before releasing new GTA 6 leaks. Additionally, as mentioned by iGrandTheftAuto, Cyberleek's cryptocurrency wallet also began showing signs of activity just over an hour ago. Some have even found the transaction history, and there are concerns among gamers the hacker will start leaking important story details from GTA 6, since the last video he released—as previously noted—was a clip from the game’s prologue featuring Lucia in prison.

Cyberleek could return soon, as his website came back online with a poll titled “???” ending in 3 days.

The last clip he leaked was titled “GTA 6 Prologue 1” which could indicate that he plans to leak part 2 next.

This could be a bad sign for Rockstar, which has been promoting GTA 6 more and more actively with each passing day—over the past week, we’ve learned the game’s official rating and seen quite a few new screenshots and details revealed. In any case, over the next few days, it will likely become clearer whether Cyberleek is onto something and if we can expect a second round of leaks.

Grand Theft Auto VI will release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
