Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil debuts with a massive 98% on Rotten Tomatoes!
It’s now one of the highest-rated video game movie adaptations of all time.
Earlier, the first reviews of Resident Evil by Zach Cregger had already been posted, praising the film for its atmosphere, scary moments, and the well-presented narrative. And this is despite the fact it's not based on any of the video games, and the events take place in 2026. The director decided to take a unique approach to the film, so the story centers on a delivery man named Brian (Austin Abrams), who must transport a highly important shipment right in the midst of the incident in Raccoon City.
Zach Cregger's Resident Evil premieres September 18. The film’s cast also includes Paul Walter Hauser, Kali Reis, Zach Cherry, and Johnno Wilson.
