Jill Valentine Will Not Appear in Resident Evil Requiem’s DLC - But Could Return in Other Projects

Capcom is still working on the story DLC for Resident Evil Requiem, but no details about it have been revealed yet. Meanwhile, rumors suggest that various characters—both heroes and villains—will appear, and a recent report reveals exactly who you shouldn’t expect to see in the expansion.

Based on information from Team Biohazard, a reliable source regarding Resident Evil, Jill Valentine will not appear in the story DLC for Requiem. The source mentions a report by Dusk Golem regarding the possible inclusion of Spencer Mansion as one of the expansion’s locations, which, according to fans, could lead to an appearance by the character. However, Team Biohazard adds that Jill Valentine appear in the upcoming remake of the first game, as she’s one of protagonists, as well as possibly in the Resident Evil Zero remake—if Capcom decides to tie it into the original game. Jill Valentine won't appear in Resident Evil Requiem's story DLC.

Talk about Jill started after Dusk Golem claimed that Spencer Mansion could be one of the locations in the DLC, leading many fans to believe that Jill might appear as well. However, despite those expectations, Team Biohazard says Jill won't be part of the DLC. The insider has instead been saying for several months that Ada Wong will appear.

“The only project involving Jill Valentine that I’m currently aware of is the Resident Evil 1 remake, and probably the Resident Evil 0 remake if they keep the original idea of directly bridging the end of the game with the intro of RE1.”

Speaking of Spencer Mansion, another well-known franchise insider, Dusk Golem, recently revealed that the location might be featured in the Requiem DLC, especially given that it was reportedly cut from the original game. However, none of this has been confirmed, so for now, this information should be treated as a rumor.

The DLC for Resident Evil Requiem is still shrouded in mystery, but rumors are almost always circulating. For instance, a recent leak revealed that Zemo—one of the villains from the ninth installment— will return in the DLC as well as in Resident Evil Veronica, and prior to that, Insert Coin, the franchise’s official merchandise provider, may have hinted at Ada Wong’s appearance, as previously reported.
