Two Games and One Add-On Are Now Available for Free on the Epic Games Store

The Epic Games Store has launched its latest free giveaway, during which you can add one game and one major expansion to your library; it has also been announced that there will be a separate giveaway for yet another game.

The first game to become available for free on Epic Games as part of the regular giveaway is Cardpocalypse by Gambrinous, released in 2019. The game follows the adventures of a 10-year-old girl named Jess, who battles monsters from a card game that have come to life in the real world. Another free offering is the Epic Mage Bundle for Albion Online, which is normally priced at $55 and contains a host of bonuses – 400 Community Tokens, 500 Learning Points, the ‘Mage Adventurer Wardrobe & Mount Skin Bundle’, and much more. Both offers are available to add to your EGS library up to and until August 27 inclusive.

It has also been announced that next week, the Epic Games Store will be giving away Breathedge—a space survival game from RedRuins Softworks—and Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition—a realistic horse racing simulator where you can restore an old farm by breeding racehorses. The game was released in 2020 but is only now making its way to the Epic Games Store—and users are immediately being given the chance to get it for free.

Additionally, the Epic Games Store is currently running another free game giveaway – Targeted – 10 Days by Glitchy Frame Studio. The game combines several genres: survival simulation, visual puzzle, and detective story. The plot sees you playing as a former mafia member who must locate anomalies in order to find their car and escape from an underground car park. The free giveaway runs until August 31st.
