AdHoc Studio Might Be Teasing Dispatch 2 or a Brand-New Project on Its Website

Last year, AdHoc Studio, a team of veterans from Telltale Games and Ubisoft, released its debut project, Dispatch, an episodic adventure that turned into one of the year's biggest surprises. Fans are hoping for a sequel, and a recent update to the developers' website might be hinting one could be on the way.

Players have noticed AdHoc gave its website a bit of a refresh, adding info on Dispatch's characters, the project's development history, and more. However, the most interesting detail turned up in the About section: after laying everything out, the developers added a line noting “and that's it for now,” as well as “more to come,” and fans have latched onto that last part as a possible tease for Dispatch 2.

Even if it's not about Dispatch specifically, the developers could be hinting at something entirely new instead. Either way, AdHoc hasn't stated anything official yet, so for now this is pure speculation.

This January, it came out that Dispatch had sold 3 million copies across all platforms. The game also became one of the highest-rated in 2025, currently sitting at 87 on Metacritic based on 61 critic reviews, and it picked up the ‘Outstanding Story-Rich Game’ award at The Steam Awards 2025. The story of Dispatch follows Robert Robertson, a former superhero who takes a job as a dispatcher trying to reform villains.
