REANIMAL Expands with 'The Prisoner' DLC: New Campaign, Characters, and Patch Details

Tarsier Studios has officially released The Prisoner, the first story expansion for their dark adventure title REANIMAL. The game, which surpassed Little Nightmares 3 in concurrent player counts during its debut, now branches into a multi-part narrative framework titled The Expanded World.

Key Content Updates & Technical Patch Notes:

• New Protagonists: The campaign introduces the Soldier and the Prisoner, sending the duo through war-torn urban ruins and previously inaccessible sectors of the map.
• Roadmap Structure: The Prisoner serves as Chapter 1 of a planned trilogy. Two additional content drops will arrive later to conclude the overarching story.
• Graphics & Stability Fixes: The accompanying update upgrades the game's HDR tone mapper to improve contrast in dark areas and resolves several multiplayer desync issues. Known unresolved bugs include a camera tracking error in the Junkyard area during online co-op and occasional character clipping.

The DLC requires the base game to play and is included in the REANIMAL Digital Deluxe Edition. Platform storefronts are running a 25% promotional discount on both the base game and Deluxe bundles through August 14.
