Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 Coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 29

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is officially coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 29, with Sega confirming a complete edition of the anime arena fighter for Nintendo's new console.

The announcement arrives as the Infinity Castle movie trilogy continues to generate excitement among Demon Slayer fans, with the new release bringing the game's full roster and post-launch content together in one package.

The Switch 2 version includes:

• The base game
• All previously released post-launch DLC
• A total roster of 54 playable characters
• Full Infinity Castle character lineup

The Infinity Castle fighters included are:

• Tanjiro Kamado (Infinity Castle)
• Zenitsu Agatsuma (Infinity Castle)
• Giyu Tomioka (Infinity Castle)
• Shinobu Kocho (Infinity Castle)
• Doma
• Akaza (Infinity Castle)
• Kaigaku

Sega also confirmed that the game will launch both physically and digitally, with additional information about the physical edition to be announced later.

Players who already own the original Nintendo Switch version will be able to upgrade to the Switch 2 edition at no additional cost.

However, Sega noted that the Infinity Castle Character Pass must still be purchased separately by players who do not already own the DLC.

Returning players can also unlock extra content based on save data from previous Demon Slayer titles.
