The creators of Fallout: New Vegas answered a fan about a possible continuation of the series
A Twitter fan asked Obidian Entertainment, the creator of Fallout New Vegas, about the possibility of a sequel to the aforementioned game. The studio representatives retweeted and responded with an emoticon that shrugs. After Microsoft bought out parent company Bethesda, which owns the rights to the Fallout series, Obsidian could theoretically take over development if Microsoft approves it.
Recall that Obsidian employees invented the Fallout universe and, commissioned by the publisher, personally engaged in the development of New Vegas. The first two parts are considered truly iconic for the world of video games, and Fallout New Vegas, released in 2010, helped gamers return to that time and appreciate the role-playing mechanics for which the series, which tells us about the wasteland survivalist, is famous.
