Marvel's Spider-Man on PS5 comes digital only

The developers of Marvel's Spider-Man said on their Twitter account that the remaster of the game will not be released on discs, and it will not be possible to transfer the save from PS4. Despite this, there is good news for fans of the game - fans of achievements will be able to get other achievements different from those that were in the original. The bad news is that achievements earned on PS4 will have to be earned anew, which actually sounds logical.

At the moment, it is not known whether Marvel's Spider-Man will be released separately from its direct sequel, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, or will only go in an Ultimate bundle with a new product from Insomniac Games.

The sequel to the Spider-Man game is due out on November 19 alongside the PlayStation 5 release. The game will be one of the few to be included in the PS5 launch lineup.
