Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Has Gone Gold and Will Officially Release on July 9

One of the most anticipated projects this summer is Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced—a remake of Ubisoft's original 2013 game. Following the developers' recent announcement that the game has gone gold, fans can now be confident that the long-awaited remake will definitely be released on July 9.

Ubisoft announced on their social media channels that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has gone gold. This is especially amusing given the game's context, as the main character, Edward Kenway, is a pirate in search of treasure—gold included. Nevertheless, the studio can now fully focus on preparing the day-one patch, polishing the game, and fine-tuning other details.

In a world GONE GOLD, we're gonna be heroes!

July 9th is fast approaching, who's ready to set sail?

Not long ago, the gaming press got a chance to try out a preview version of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. The game received high praise, with most reviewers highlighting the revamped combat system and parkour, which felt more realistic and enjoyable, as well as improved stealth mechanics. Additionally, all aspects related to the naval adventures were notably enhanced, making that element even better. Ubisoft recently released the final DLC for Assassin's Creed Shadows—Black Tides—which is linked in some way to Black Flag Resynced. They also confirmed that the remake will not be launched on the Nintendo Switch 2.
